LSIORB Section 2 Project Control Services

Global provided Project Control services to Michael Baker Corporation on the Section 2 of the Ohio River Bridges Project. 

Global Solutions provided Project Controls services on the Section 2 of the Ohio River Bridges Project. Global utilized Primavera P6 to provide these services. To provide these services Global coordinated with other sub-consultants on the team and gather necessary information to input the information into Primavera software to generate reports that the client (CTS/KYTC/INDOT) needs. Along with the reports a narrative explaining the reports was prepared to highlight the project progress. Milestone Analysis and Critical Path Analysis was provided along with the reports to discuss the upcoming milestones as well as the milestones acheived or missed. Also, critical path analysis discussing the project schedule and comparing planned progress with the actual progress to track the project progress for that particular period was prepared. Any concerns/issues were discussed during the bi-weekly project meetings with the client team. Based on these discussions corrective measures were taken to bring the project back on track. For Earned Value Analysis, Schedule Performance Index was calculated to study the project progress. Client also calculated these ratios and tracked the project in terms of dollars earned against dollars budgeted for that period to determine if the consultant is either spending the dollars as per the plan or under/over spending the dollars.

Invoices were also reviewed to make sure that they were in sync with the Primavera reports.
